First train in a batch of ~30 or so, ordered from Alstom. So far, 3 trains have been manufactured, all undergoing testing for quicker authorization (these are some pretty new models, so they need all the specific tests, which took a year so far). They will all go in equal number to the state and private train operators, on routes connecting the major cities in the country. These are the first new trains ordered in 20 years. If I'm not mistaken, they will also be the first EMUs operated by the state operator, CFR Călători.
