One day I’ll tire of using the space mouse with my left hand in that visually satisfying location, and place it between the keyboard’s halves. Today is not that day.

"My daily driver is the Keebio Iris rev 8 and my toy to break up the monotony is a Draculad. I’ve been a long time creeper and finally sharing my setup." by u/dgvigil

"I'm not really sure what to call it, but I designed, printed and wired this up the other day. The biggest difference is the additional key in the thumb cluster. I also spread out the columns because I have large hands.

I needed an extra key because I use a num pad under a layer on the left hand, and didn't want to shift the zero over on the third row.

I'm very happy with how it turned out, it's very comfortable to type on. It was also surprisingly cheap to build. Probably under $50, not including keycaps.

On my next one I'll be adding OLED's, and hopefully a thumbstick for mouse movement."
