I've been loving both Tinkaton ex (for the occasional crazy high damage) and United Wings (hits fast and hard, particularly when weakness is involved). Alas, none of them are quite the same after rotation. So for my new deck, I've decided on Slowking with Seek Inspiration. It won't win me any tournaments, but it just might be able to take someone by surprise at the local shop.

I'll start tinkering with the deck list, including Simisage⁣ - Paradox Rift and Clefable - 151. Stay tuned for the final version and post your own off-meta decks in the meantime :)

It seems me and my kid will bacame new players soon. I'd appreciate learning from your experience. What are things that you discovered hard way, so we don't have to? :)

I don't know much about Pokémon cards, but I know this is a rare holo. Is it worth much?

Backstory: my son (6yo) kept talking lately about a Mewtwo he got at a birthday party and how he's going to trade it with his classmate for a Darkrai, but he lost his Mewtwo somewhere in the car. So yesterday I finally get around to searching below the car seat to find this. A holo Mewtwo Vstar, in a protective sleeve too. I asked him repeatedly if it was really in the goodie bag (making sure the b-day kid didn't just give it away on their own without parents knowing), but yeah, everyone got cards in their bags (but doesn't sound like anyone got something like this one). For now I told him to just keep it safe and not use it to play with and definitely don't trade it away.

Even when I have good luck, it’s just.. weird luck..

PreRelease is happening at local games stores on weekends of 29th July and 5th Aug. I'll be going to my local to play. I've always had good luck with pulls from PreRelease, not so much luck with placement in the tournaments.

Who enjoys PreRelease? What experience have you had? Are you looking forward to Obsidian Flames?

Tell us about your favorite Deck.

Mine is Fusionstrike-Mew, my kids started collecting Pokemon cards last summer and i also felt in love again with it. Previous i played Yu-Gi-Oh for some years but i was not having fun with it anymore. I wanted to compensate the lost of this longtime hobby with another cardgame so i bought the Mew League Batte Deck.

tl;dr: Mew is my favorite because it was my first real Deck, but i also like most of the single price attacker decks like Zoro-Box.

Is any of them rare lmao

It's not super rare and are reprints but looking at these makes my inner 10 yr old self super happy.
