I need an alternative like subscene, cuz what I can find has been disappointing and annoying to use.

I liked getting my subs from Subscene, since they had a wide selection to choose from for every language, a very simple UI that makes looking for what I want very easy, and enough details to make finding the right subtitle for my movie, tv show, or anime very easy. Match the length of the media to the subtitle listed to make sure sync matched. Some have colors, some have SDH. Some have alien/foreign language included, others offer JUST alien/foreign language translations. It was perfect.

Opensubtitles is so messy. I can't tell what's a subtitle and what's just text. The UI gave me a stroke.

KickAssSubtitles is okay, but I have a hard time matching the subtitles to the video. I downloaded what I thought was 1 subtitle in a zip file, only to open it and find 4 folders with 5 different sub options that are all the same and have the same sync issues...

Any ideas?

I just want to warn everybody in germany that are using open trackers. There is a lawyer "Nimrod Rechtsanwälte" that is writing "Abmahn" - cease-and-desist letters, to everybody. They are either in the seed looking for german ip's or scanning the site for german ip's (somehow).

I got a letter too. For a game what i didnt download, Dungeons 4. And they only get you for games from . It doesnt matter if you downloaded a game from a tracker that comes from Kalypso or not, they will try and send you a letter.

They will send you a "Unterlassungsvertrag" and say you have to pay 850€ (Vergleichsangebot - a "settlement offer"). Do not sign it! When you do, then you just said that you did it! And you have to pay. Take the letter and go to a lawyer. They will write a letter to Nimrod that its not true and blabla etc. And just stay still. It can take some time. Just dont pay and let the lawyer do the job.

Fellow pirates in germany, when you use a open tracker. Get yourself a VPN! And not a free one, pay the 5€-10€ a month or get a abo. If you dont know how it works, google, youtube and othe forums will help you. And then you can set sail again.

Hi! I'm moving to the UK soon, and when I first visited the country a few years ago, I noticed that piracy sites don't work. To cite a specific instance, I was going to download music from mp3juices, when I couldn't. I didn't really have Spotify premium, so I had to manually download songs in such a way. Now that i'm moving to the UK soon, I was wondering if pirating things is stricter/more difficult than other countries, as I am recently wondering if I can pirate books (I'm using Anna's Archive), music (still on sites like mp3juices), and downloading of videos (eg. ytmate). Would I get in trouble if I do find a way to pirate? Thanks!

So I've been jumping around the internet today watching some content creators try to throw out quick reaction videos and live streams about today's news and I'm sitting on my couch laughing at myself as they try to get the video players and live streams of cnn or Fox to load properly, hardly able to even lurch down the page before the site stuttering to a halt. Some of their fans spamming out please just use an ad blocker all to fall on deaf ears.

I'm interested in watching the original 1980 Shogun series before watching the newer one that came out. There's several torrents of it, but what I'm baffled at is both IMDB and Wikipedia state that the series was 5 parts, but every single torrent I come across only has 4 parts. Is there anyone familiar with the series and knows why this is?
