I got my ballot this Monday and half of the spots to be voted on had only one candidate.... maybe remove that shit from the ballot and add things like..."would you like Toyota to know where you are when you send emails about your period?" That would be useful.

Well, you've heard of fortified 🍞 bread. You have it in sandwiches 🥪 or with milk 🥛. But wouldn't you rather have fiftified bread? How about sixtified bread, that must be way better. Why always fortified? Or how about it it got better each year? You know, today it's fortified, next year it's fortisixed?

This is an original joke. You've heard it only here! Exclusive.... I'll see my self out.

Good thing they have a kid at the front. That way you are relatively protected from accidental crashes.

Look at that shit! Before it was here are your two browsers choose! Now it's...how about for the letter A? Suppose a website starts with an A, would you choose Edge to be your default browser?... then you choose chrome or Firefox, and when you click on a link Edge Pops up with some shit like...Are you really sure you wanna use Firefox to view websites that start with the letter A?

Fuck Microsoft! Give us a fucking break you assholes! You are this turd of a company that is just stuck to company's assholes and that's the only reason any fly will ever touch your software.

There should be a law to prevent the sale to toddlers if they don't pass a mental health test.

Our local druglord is offering drug protection for kids at schools! Yey! And at $5 bucks, their service is way cheaper than the war on drugs that the cops keep peddling!

Before I can get the kids to their first drug training, I gotta get the truck fixed, and what better way to do that than Joe? Joe may be the drunkest one eyed blind rheumatic paraplegic mute there is, but he's kept all our cars running pretty good since that one time we accidentally ran him over. The car was making a noise and then it was just fine. Since then we go to Joe's for regular maintenance. Well, it's the alley behind Joe's actually. It might not last, Joe seems to be getting slower and slower and much less talkative. Like the first time we ran him over, he was just blasting his mouth off. Last time he fixed my truck he wasn't moving around as much and there were more flies around him than usual. Anyway, Joe is the way!

And don't let Google trick you. They just want more of your data.

I write this because I have several accounts on Reddit and I really want them deleted but I can't delete them now that I'm permanently banned. I can still go into Reddit and browse. How does that even make sense?

3D stereography adapter (mastodon.social)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Check this out. I spent a couple of weekends designing an adapter for a Canon 40mm lens that I have. The stereography lens has a 52mm thread so you can adapt it to other lenses. Today I opened a simple PayPal store with payhip to see if I can start my way into something interesting. I'll probably end up with just five bucks in my pocket but it would be pretty cool to actually sell a product of my own. So anyway, if you got ideas for other thread sizes I could make it happen. I'm thinking up other options too.

According to this news, automated cars suck just as much as normal cars suck:

3D stereoscope (mastodon.social)

Unfortunately I can't repost here because there's no option to reduce the photo size. So I put a link to my mastodon. Appearently you can buy these things from eBay and Amazon but I made my own for a few bucks and a 3d printer. The results are fun lomo 3D. Well not really that lomo at all actually. Pretty cool photos in my opinion.

I hope people know that us all having instances would always be better than anything centralized elsewhere. 1) I can delete all my posts if I want. 2) anyone can make a better app to talk to it. 3) we got so many different ways of sharing our free speech here, it's not even funny. 4) you can backup your stuff. I'm not, but you can do that if you serve your own server. 5) you can establish your own rules or land on someone else's server that you trust.

At this point you gotta be a lower form of life to conclude that going centralized is good for anyone.

So how long do you have left on your mouse subscription before it expires?

You gotta set up that monthly payment on your credit card!

Since devices that compute generate heat, it is a good way to hear your home up in the PNW. Additionally, you get to host websites. Everyone wins.

Better if you mine crypto, cuz any profit is just extra. You get the same results as if you were using a wall heater but you also get something in return.

In the state of Seattle (formerly known as washinton) if you drive east, you will encounter the sierra madre mountains. well, with my dying battery I was able to to drive up there and almost back.... got triangle of death TOD. After the TOD, I was still able to limp back home. Well it doesn't really limp, it just drives on the engine only and ignores the battery all together. Going up there, it would only muster 47MPH lol.

Well, I've been thinking about several battery options but I haven't committed. On the one hand, the high power headways cells are currently at $5 a pop at batteryhookup.com, but then I've read a few stories about the cells just popping in open mode. That would be bad during commute.

Its an interesting concept where a bluetooth dongle is connected to the OBDII, then a raspberrypi is used to collect data. The rpi will have a live data dashboard aswell.
