It's amazing how much they just copy, copy, copy. Even just some effort to spice it up and add some unique ideas could help.

XDefiant had some decent bones. Not going to claim I loved it by any means, but I had a fun time playing it for a bit when it launched. Then it just did nothing to freshen up the experience so I fell off fast.

Though I've got my eye on Splitgate 2 now, I have a good feeling about that one!

Just started playing Splitgate 2! Didn't really pay too much attention when it got announced, but I saw it was live last night and gave it a try.

As a long time Halo/Arena Shooter fan, this game really scratches a certain itch. The gameplay is crisp, the art direction is fun, and I had a blast. Now I just need to get better at using my portals in game...

Something that stood out to me is that the install (at least on Xbox) was only 17gb! After so many gigantic games, it's nice to have one with a manageable file size.

No, but I've always wanted to get a copy!

Render96 is legendary. Felt like I was playing a version of Mario 64 I saw in my dreams once lmao

Recently got a CRT and have been hooking up my old systems to it. Never got a chance to play Dreamcast on one since I bought mine just a couple years ago. Felt like I transcended when I finally did

This Mario 64 one is my particular favorite. I think it's so funny that Metal Mario has a reflection of what looks like open land and clouds. Pairs well with the fact that in-game his texture was some flowers and a cloudy sky.

As another long-time Sonic fan, this is the perfect path of recommendation! Sonic/Shadow Gens is a perfect way to open the door to the world.

Using Adventure 1+2 as a journey into the narratives of Sonic is perfect!

Absolutely love these posts. Look forward to it each week! I'm really curious to watch SteamOS grow into something bigger for desktops someday.

While many of us would probably go to a more specific Linux Distro, having the option for the average user to move away from Windows (especially in a less intimidating or familiar fashion) is a big step forward.

Was down to 3 of us. Guess the other player didn't realize I was still alive, let alone right next to them lmao
