I am so sorry that you had that experience those things. You deserve better. I wish I could help more than just being a voice telling you that I'm here, and that you are a good person who did not deserve to be treated that way. I see you, I hear you, and you are loved.

That is an amazing coincidence. I am currently awaiting a meeting discussing this cities trans agenda right this very moment. I am excited. And there's free food.

Try to ask people if they are in a discord server or matrix or signal group chat etc and try to join that. Maybe they have casual meet-ups in between the big event. It may take asking a few people but then you'd be more connected to your community.

As if Jesus didn't teach psychology? Every parable was explaining how best to behave. That's behavioral psychology. Also where does it say that Jesus didn't fuck.

Honey you gotta give yourself a break. You are putting waaaay too much pressure on yourself.

I've been on HRT 2 years. These babies take a while to grow. Puberty is a long long process. I know it's hard. I hope you can find some peace soon.

Loving oneself is so key, and trust me it took me a really long time to get there. One step at a time. One day at a time. You can do it but it takes a good support system. And that can take a while to build. Finding the right therapist to talk to is so huge.

I know about drugs. I used heavily for over 3 decades. I tried Narcotics Anonymous for a few years. It helped a little. Some folks it helps a lot. It's hard to kick that shit. I get that.

Maybe try forming 1 good habit at a time, and pick one thing you are doing now that you want to change. You can do this.

I know you want to keep going because you keep reaching out. You are stronger than you realize.

Keep fighting, we'll be here with you.

When I was thinking of names I could come up with a reason for every single one to not use it because it rhymed with something or other, or was close to somerhing else I didn't like etc.

For example, kids can come up with a way to twist most any name into some insult.

So don't sweat it too much. When I think of the name Elaine, I immediately think of Elaine from Seinfeld. Elaine is a decent name.

Maybe it doesn't quite fit and your brain is coming up with something to make you think harder about it. But either way, you'll get there eventually.

I spent a good couple three months on this conundrum. It's a puzzler.

A post was deleted just now and that is ok. I get it. It's hard to think about and talk about ones innermost decisions and thoughts, and as a transgender individual trying to figure out what to do and where to go from here was really hard for me so I totally get it. But I wrote this up for you and everyone else in a similar situation so I am gonna make a new post and maybe you will read it. And if not, that's ok too. I am just one girl with an opinion. 💜

Fuck passing. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. You might pass and you might not but people that care about you will not care about that. They will love you and support you and change their words for you. Anyone that doesn't can get fucked.

You can't let passing be a barrier. I am guessing that many many trans people worried a lot about passing before they started transitioning. It's probably a very natural thing to worry about.

But you need to understand that there is no one magical thing that "makes you a woman"

Don't let 'passing' get in the way of how you feel about yourself. Don't let anything or anyone get in your head and turn you away from how you see your authentic self.

I understand waiting if your living situation isn't ideal, but you can still do affirming things beyond shaving. The first step is always the hardest. The more steps you take, the easier it gets.

You can do this if you decide to. Just remember that we love you and care about you no matter what you decide. It can take a while to figure out how to move forward. It took me 1 year from when I first realized I needed HRT. It can take some people longer. Try not to sweat it. You will be ok.

I wont go too far into my story because it is too hard right now. But sadly and suddenly i am facing homelessness due to transphobic family members. I am currently safe staying at a hotel for the night, but i have no job so i cant afford too many hotel stays.

I have an appointment with my therapist later this morning and i am feeling ok, all things considered and i havnt thought at all about hurting myself (and that isnt something i have a history of). I am fortunately at a fairly stable point in my life and i believe i can make it through this. But i know i cant do it alone.

I am currently trying to reach out to friends for support and i have the phone number to a shelter line but i am scared of going to one. I am hopeful that i can find something temporary but i am trying to look at every option.

I am not asking for handouts or anything like that. I know there is a mutual aid com if it comes to needing assistance if all else fails.

What i am asking for is advice from anyone that has faced this situation. Just... anything. I dont even know what to ask. I feel so lost. At least i grabbed one of my sharks before the cops escorted me out. Which is good bc i am very sad girl right now. I think i will go cry. Thanks for listening
