Tempted to go. I've seen it a dozen times but never caught it in the theater. Not sure if it's worth it though. They should show the unofficial spicediver cut.

I saw it in the theater when it came out. All I really remember was thinking why didn't I leave sooner?
I am a big Lynch fan too. He didn't like it, and I don't like it either.
I’ve seen it enough times to have made my peace with it. I don’t think the theatre experience will add anything, except maybe to emphasise how detailed some of or all of the sets are, but I know that already.
I have to presume Lynch himself isn’t behind or thrilled about this, and I’m enough of a fan of his to respect his distaste for the film. It’s very much a “could have been” film with so much clear potential, but for me, as with many I presume, it just doesn’t get there.
Fuck yeah. We have worm sign the likes of which even GOD hasn't seen.
I like the new Dune movie, but I love this one. I don't hold any particularly deep reverence for the novel (so the differences don't bother me), and I just like to bask in the overt weirdness of the entire affair. I can see why Lynch wanted to do it in the first place. Shame it didn't turn out how he wanted it to.
I don’t go to movie theatres anymore
