This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

why is it that the puppets in divided countries are always the south lol. South korea, south vietnam, south yemen...

Looking at those countries it might be just strategic positions. Vietnam and the DPRK border China to the north and Yemen is bordering Saudi Arabia. It makes sense to not place your puppets in between two (semi) hostile forces.

Maybe access to the ocean is a factor, too? Hence Western Europe rather than Central or Eastern Europe. Until the 1990s, at least—although I wonder where the cracks first started to appear?

I'd bet it's because of access to maritime trade routes. Dependent capitalism has historically had some trouble advancing deeper into continents due to lack of required infrastructure (trains), so the most "developed" regions tend to be by rivers, ports and sea. So you both get this local bourgeoisie dependent on foreign trade as well as making it easier to deploy foreign troops for intervention, with carriers and the like.

But it also turns out there just aren't that many north-pointing peninsula countries in the world, specially outside the Mediterranean Sea. Best I could think of were the Guyanas (both the nominally independent and the French territory) and Suriname, and Israel is sort of north-pointing. There were also some East-West divides in South America, like the Triple Alliance War.

Comrades who like video games if you havent played it the Tony Hawk Pro Skater remake is fantastic. Feels exactly like the originals just modern. Sound track slaps. Love getting new clothes and boards for my guy with cash i earned doing in game challenges and no other bs. High recommendation

I seem to be lacking the motivation to do party work lately. I don't know if it's because of the things the party asks us to do or because of personal issues.
