That's because public companies no longer make a product to make money they make money by convincing people with limited knowledge that the company make all the money by dominating and industry so we have no choice to buy from anyone else and turn the whole planet in to a company town and they run the company store. The sad thing is sometimes those CEOs have no choice but to tell that lie because their board told them to tell it.
