As I heard recently: sharks don't attack. They live in the sea, we live on land, they can't harm us. But they can, occasionally, maul trespassers.

Anyway, maybe this swimmer was like the Florida guy: friend of the environment, a buddy to all animals, chum to sharks.

Not really an attack, though, if it was an attack she'd have been mauled. This was the equivalent of a dog mouthing something to find out what it is, except the mouth is full of very sharp teeth.
