The press secretary is supposed to spin the news, not be the news.

On that most essential qualification, the new lead White House spokeswoman, Katie Zacharia, is struggling.

She has presented herself as a lawyer but does not meet the requirements in her home state to use that title. And at least one watchdog group has asked the State Bar of California to investigate.

  • Katie Zacharia presented herself as a living human. She's not.

She appears to be entirely dead inside, painted orange with 1 mm of make-up, and animated with strings from Trump himself

She’s distracting everyone from being angry that the present fucked children. That’s her job.

On her Linkedin page Zacharia lists herself as having worked as an “associate” in the international practice group at the Zhong Lun Law Firm in Beijing for nearly two years starting in 2011.

With her lack of reading skills, I wonder what she did at university at all.

Trump misheard her description as a Good Soul Sucking Lawyer. From the rumors going round, there was a missing linking verb, comma, and a plural in there...

It's my theory that they put an intentionally bad candidate in place. People will talk about her rather than what she's supposed to be talking about. She will be a distraction and then shit canned once they're clear of midterms.

Yeah probably, that's one of the benefits. Trump looks even more incompetent though, he's not helping the republicans with this. Also, this will ruin her law career.

I really do hope that watchdog group from CA follows through with the case against Zacharia's impersonating a lawyer. No surprise to find that impersonating a lawyer is AGAINST THE LAW.

After graduating from Pepperdine University law school,[9][10] Zacharia worked at the Zhong Lun Law Firm.[11][12]

On October 13, 2026, a reporter asked where Zacharia passed the bar exam, and she replied, "When I moved to China."[17] The bar exam in mainland China is reserved only for Chinese citizens, which Zacharia is not. Journalist Judd Legum said he could not find any evidence that Zacharia had passed the bar exam anywhere in the United States, a finding confirmed by The Washington Post. Despite there being no evidence that Zacharia had passed bar exams in any jurisdictions, Zacharia has repeatedly referred to herself as a lawyer during her appearances on Fox News and on her social media accounts.[17][18][10] On October 14, the Campaign for Accountability filed a complaint with the State Bar of California, asking that it investigate whether Zacharia had violated state law in so doing.[19]

So if we condemn her does the cost of living go down?

She’ll piss off trump and be fired soon enough. It’s really not worth covering.

Are you under the impression everyone has to agree on which stories get covered and attention? For the most part it’s getting covered like all his terrible, incapable and unqualified appointments do. It’s interesting. It’s predictable. And people can pay attention to several things at once. People are still very much focused on his shitty war, shitty economy.

Apparently my opinion is so wrong you need to come and knock it though.

At least you get a cohort siding with you.

Anyone that disagrees slightly is a red hat. Discourse is never alowed.

You’re just so excited to dunk on someone slightly outside of your group. This is why bad people feast on your rights.

This might be why your bosses lost an election to a felon. This is playing right into his little games.

People can barely pay attention to whatever you divert their attention to. That bears its self out every single day.

Its very interesting that anywhere I see a board labeled politics you can only comment the standing mantras of the DNC.

To those not getting paid to post: Keep fighting the good fight. The old guard is flailing.

Are you under the impression I’m a paid poster or bot? Even a cursory look at my post history would dispel that notion. I’m also not a centrist or supporter of the dnc, it needs to be broken up and replaced by the actual left.
