Old people pissed off in the vestibule of my synagogue last week because our anti-Zionist rabbi never talked about it. Bunch of millennial kids like "okay dad, time to take your medicine."

Bro if you actually cared, you would be going elsewhere instead of sundowning over your openly bisexual female spiritual leader not mentioning or caring about your personal pet issue from the other side of the planet.

My theory? They were trying to make a big deal about 9/11 remembrance. 10/7 is just the same grievance papering over a gross power imbalance but it’s even weaker sauce domestically. That plus Israel being radioactive in public opinion

Netanyahu is up for re-election this month, so his opponents have been saying that he knew about October 7 and let it happen so that he could conduct attacks on Gaza. There are somehow further right wing parties in Israel that have been saying that Netanyahu is secretly a Palestinian. Israel political parties are like fascist and even more fascist.

I don't think it was forgotten in the US at least. It was all over the news again

They'll do everything except actually prevent Zionists from doing whatever they want. They'll pin it on Israel too, when they entered alliance with Saudi Arabia, Ansarallah somehow became a direct beneficiary of Israel in spite of actively bombing it and Arabia's infrastructure which Israel also makes heavy use of

I'm not completely sure how this study was done, but if it was in public, I believe there might be shame attributed to it as well.

Most people I know do not actually care much, and the cognitive dissonance from the political situation has left them uncaring. Fetishizing life in the US or Germany is extremely common of course, so criticism of Israel only goes so far, and critical analysis of news is nonexistent. But, at the same time, the contradictions make it a good brewing ground for socialist sentiment and for growing class solidarity.

I saw a big entity flag surrounded by Amerikkkan flags on a highway overpass by the train station on the 7th and the local news my parents watch covered various memorials for a couple days before and after

Not on Israel's side of things. They up some strikes and shit and Ben-Gvir was going around mocking Palestinians in their jail cells.

I check Jewish interest media pretty regularly, but there were some commemorations in the US
