There’s a local cat rescue that was trying to get rid of surplus black cats this month. Apparently, people don’t often adopt them. Two rescues cats ago, when I adopted a black cat, the human society worker thanked me and said they usually end up destroying black cats because no one wants them.

I always have 1, so I’m not sure what the problem is.

My favorite cat would sleep like he had just been hit by a car. Our in-joke for him was just "RIP".
