Managing about an hour in my Japanese everyday, 30 mins Spanish. No proper immersion, or very little of it. Still haven't touched my Irish.

I'm finding my Japanese is taking the vast majority of my free time these days, because there's just so much more I need to do. In the past I would for instance just tackle my review pile and I'd always be chewing 100 words, once in a day. Well now it's more like I'm doing the review piles every hour, however smaller, so instead of 1 giant 100 pile it's piles of 10-40 in a total 200 SRS pile throughout the day. I've picked up more words in the past 2 weeks than I have done the whole year beforehand, and I'm sorta worried it'll be too much at some point and I'll fall back into chaos. But for now all I can do is hope I make my studies on time every day and stick with it for as long as is humanly possible.

If I bomb in the next few days or weeks, well, at least I did good for the past while.

I had been studying Navajo (diné) a little, but I always felt self conscious learning it as a white person.

But this morning at the food bank where I volunteer a Navajo man greeted me yáʼátʼééh abíní (good morning). I was so surprised I drew a blank to respond to him. We talked a little about the language, and he reminded me how to say good bye, hágoóneeʼ

It has renewed my zeal in learning the language again, as difficult as it is.

Finishing up my Anki Backlog today. Don't let Anki get to 700 word backlogs, it takes a while and a lot of effort to bring the number back down!
