ONE GOOD THING DOESN'T REEDEEM A EVIL ORG...

They can still eat shit since they STILL fund anti-lgbtq organizations, to my knowledge.

I don't care if they still fund it or not. When somebody shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

With a corporation, that gets complicated. IIRC, it was the CEO and/or other top executives, not the company itself. And those executives are now gone, but still funding the same atrocities.

The new executives still aren't great, so it's easy in this particular case. But what if they really were different?

The one nearest me is owned by a gay couple. Not sure how that slipped through the cracks…

I dont really understand it, but their employees in my area seem to be like, 30% gay. Maybe they are all closeted religious folk, but surely that cant be.

One extra large order of the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy, please. To go.

There's a reason why Chick Fil A is doing better than every other fast food company: Service.

No, the reason is blind loyalty from Christofascist Christian Nationalists.

Every time you pay them for their bland ass chicken, they spend some of that money on torturing gay kids for Jesus, or supporting a politician that wants to make heresy a capital crime.

Bullshit. There's always 5 extra employees at chickfila, an extra 1-2 in the drive through alone. My order is never wrong at chickfila, I've never had to complain of missing items.

Service trumps it all, whether you like the taste or not. I don't feel cheated, I don't feel abused. I get what I pay for and move on.

It's a very simple system that so many others fuck up so badly.

As much as you think that matters to everyone else as much as it matters to you, you are wrong.

You aren't wrong about what their owners do and what supporting them funds. But 99/100 people going to Chick Fil A just want a damn chicken sandwich. They don't think about the owners or politics. They think about going somewhere that is fast, easy, and relatively tasty (compared to other fast food places).

Blind loyalty only accounts for a very minor percent of their business.

Yeah, as much as I disagree with the owners religious stance/beliefs, there isno denying that Chick-Fil-A is simple well priced, fast, decent fast food with great ustomer service added on around it. They have a very solid business model.

It's not a publicly traded company.

When you notice some company being way less shitty than others for apparently no reason, that's almost always the reason.

They can do whatever they want, still not supporting them. Their food isn’t good.

Listen, I'm not going to tell them to get bent for doing the only sane thing they've ever done, but I'm not throwing them a welcome-to-the-family party either. The lesser evil is still evil and I will continue to avoid so much as letting my shadow darken their doorway.

I still have yet to actually order with an AI system. Plenty of restaurants around me have them, but an employee always cuts in before I can order.

I have once or twice. I tried to get something removed from the order and it just kept asking, "What else would you like to add?" and "Will that complete your order?" as I'm aggressively telling it to change something. Human took over from there. I mean, if AI can't even get something as simple as "can you remove X from the food?" then it definitely explains why most people choose to cut in instead.
