They're losing millions because they have to compete with Chinese airlines, which means they can't pass it on to the consumer or they just lose the flights entirely. This CEO basically wants Chinese airlines tarriffed to the value of whatever advantage they're getting from the flgiht path difference to even out competition as a protectionist measure.
