30+ year old gamers trying to pull an all nighter: I'm tired, boss.

Nearly 50 here: I've had the urge to do an all-nighter for weeks now but I know I probably couldn't pull it off and that I'd be a wreck for 36 hours afterward.

I think that is more a you problem. My work is the only thing holding me back from gaming all night.

Idk, i'm 30 and i fairly regularly pull all-nighters. Does take a bit longer to recover tho

Not a problem if you slept all day.

When I hit 30, I indeed felt like I aged rapidly and could no longer pull all nighters. Life happened and I changed my job from IT to manufacturing. I was no longer sitting around on my ass all day, but actually working my body.

Few years in, I feel younger than I did at 30 and have zero issues gaming all night.

All I can suggest is do resistance training (top tier activities are running, swimming and dancing. Pretty much anything that builds cardio without excessively building mass).

I'm gaming at least 6hrs a day. Rarely go to bed before 4am. I'm >50, it's possible 😁

And we still do cultural outside shit all day, so it's not that.

My previous job at a factory with rotating day/night shifts gave me an apparently lifelong case of sleep disorders. My "eight hours of uninterrupted sleep" is more or less indistinguishable from my "one coffee after pulling an all-nighter in Factorio".

How late does it need to be to count as an all nighter? Because I havent gone all the way since I was 28.
