The latest update has been amazing. It now works really fast even when I have a lot of extensions turned on and working in the background.

On one hand, more people using Firefox is good for competition. On the other... you're right, it doesn't seem organic.

Firefox has been functionally superior to Chrome for years now, and when Chromium went to a model that effectively meant Ad or otherwise blocked content had to be downloaded first and then not rendered, the motives were obvious. Chrome isn't a browser, it's an ad rendering platform.

I'm happy to see this.

I main Firefox but it's always felt slower than Chrome. I still think it is though ... So maybe I need to do a fresh install or something.
