Ooops Taiwan is blank. Brace for impact
post
How many Alaskas is that?
Oops All Canadas!
Needs a Canada for scale
China: 9,389,687 square kilometers
Canada: 9,984,670 square kilometers
According to truesize.net, China is 9,389,687 km²
Fun fact: There are more Canadas in this picture than there are Canada's in the world.
Not as fun fact: You got the apostrophe usage right the first time and then proceeded to fuck it up. D: D: D:¹
¹ extra emoticons should be read as "/s", or more precisely "/silly"…
Another fun fact: This isn't what China actually looks like, even though we all think it's made from many Canada's.
You only did 1 China population, but there are 2 China.
Canadian Teipei has roughly half a Canada.
Anything but metric...wait...
Clearly a metric fuckton of Canadas. :)
Now all of Canada knows you are here
Is China going to join the EU too?
Now do racial diversity
do indigenous ethnic groups count or no? china and India together have a few hundred indigenous populations that didn't get genocided, and a few hundred that did (most before 1900 for stupid reasons). Canada succeeded at almost all of theirs, the west is really good at getting rid of things they don't want, China tries to construct systems that please them without giving them real power, which is also evil but definitely beats 'killing the indian and saving the man'
it would take several classes to understand diversity in China because of their government system and long history but this English wiki article is a great start
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_minorities_in_China
I've always found that it's better to just focus on what people are likely to become invested in rather than expecting them to read everything. this is a much shorter article, read this one instead:
They don't count when China's actively driving them out, no.
I grew up with them, here, in Canada, because of what China has done to the non-Han people.
i hope this sends someone down a Kyrgyzstan rabbit hole, it would be a great honor to enrich you with this knowledge
