    Reddit not being transparent and not having independent safeguards against numbers' manipulation, I wouldn't trust their statistics.

    Because theres no reddit alternative and lemmy is too confusing for the average person and they get pushed out for being not tech oriented enough and theres no push for lemmy to attract more users

    It might be growing, but the content is decreasing. The content is mostly just reposts of the same content over and over again. It is really boring. People on Reddit are increasingly aggressive, toxic, and hateful. Sometimes I wonder why I still check Reddit through the Apollo app (sideloaded) and very often I just think it is some kind of habit or addiction to check Reddit.
