We've been mocking how "muh freedum" people also see a veritable tank as the only reasonable means of getting from place to place, and oppose everything else. You DO NOT need knobby tires and 4WD and a 6 inch lift to go to Sam's Club. You'll be perfectly fine doing it in a stock Toyota Corolla.

There's something about being in a car that makes people fucking nuts.

I was walking home from public transit yesterday and the street I was crossing (admittedly, jaywalking) was in a red light and the car I was crossing in front of was slowing down, coming into a stop behind another stopped car.

The motherfucker still rolled his window down and yelled: "Use the crosswalk!"

All I did was slow him up for one second, going into a stop, behind another car, at a red light.

Probably stupid, but I stopped, turned, and thanked him profusely and politely (though sarcastically too) for thirty seconds and the cowardly little prick didn't even have the balls to keep his window down.
