This isn't significantly more revolting than a standard Bloody Mary; the entire idea of tomato juice is disgusting, it's just thin and bland tomato soup and if you chill it it's even worse. It's a waste of vodka, not good vodka mind you, but you could have had a perfectly fine screwdriver with that vodka!

I've tried an actual fools gold loaf once. I dont get it. The crunchy bacon ruins the texture of peanut butter, jam and soft bread.
I imagine it's that combo of salty, savory, and sweet that draws you in.
But from the description I found online, it's way too much of each part to even seem like a good idea.
I could see those elements on toast though... You get the crunch of the toast and the bacon, that would handle the texture aspect.
Then just having a spread of peanut butter and jam instead of full jars would complement the savory of the bacon better.
The description of the loaf specifies grape jelly... I'd swap that out for something like a marmalade for some more acid to balance things out.
What is this? If I search for fools gold loaf it just says it's a pb&j&bacon hoagie. Whatever is pictured in the meme looks interesting.
