The system where women are systematically wrapped into sex work due to existing infrastructure and poverty, where US military presence creates the demand, and where Western tourism perpetuates supply – this is femicide.

Thinking about this and liberals selective outrage when they go on about how "we must help the women in [place we're currently bombing]!" and Vietnam and the "kichijon" towns in occupied Korea. Another level of depravity is that many were war-orphans and under-aged.

    Two USS Lincoln sailors sent back to ship after drunken brawl in notorious Thai party town

    On Thursday morning, a Thai citizen placed an emergency call reporting that two U.S. service members had gotten into a physical altercation near a town bar at 1:30 a.m., MS NOW reported, citing local police. After Thai police responded, the Americans were brought to a U.S.-Thailand joint operations center situated in the town’s Hard Rock Cafe before being transferred back to the aircraft carrier.

    Speaking to the outlet, a Thai official described the incident as “minor.” He added that the service members were drunk and that the emergency caller was worried the altercation might intensify.
