No wonder it had decent sales..
... IN JAPAN
Edit: FUCK It's fake slop
I don't have Twitter so I can't confirm, but it looks like the mob had determined this was an AI fake. The one time I was considering using xcancel, it's already gone lol

As a Japanese guy, I can attest that the Japanese is unnatural and a quick search does show that the pricing is wrong. Also Saikachi would be an incredibly rare last name (all different ways of writing the kanji ads up to about 1'000 individuals in all of Japan), so it shouldn't be difficult to find her in a quick online search but you can't find anything about her.
fucking hell! its getting harder and harder to find some legit shit!
Right? Why do they even make fake ones like these? It messes with history. I mean, this particular example might not be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if there were thousands of these made and a history in the future wanted to make a documentation about 90s gaming advertisements, they'd have to sift through a bunch of fakes.
back in the day forging some historical material used to be a research exercise for history students. we had that kind of thing for the press and we had to study how things are written (that was the whole point) and then replicate it using these insights - barely anyone ever got a good grade for these things because it is way harder to do than it seems like - even something from 10 years ago linguistically is another world and something form 1920s or 1930s (or earlier) is straight up parallel universe.
Idk who Momoko Saikachi is but I'd like to be her friend. Maybe I can help her with an Arch install, I bet she loves Linux too
she's into Graphene
There's nothing on Google about her.
That's because the name is fake and the ad is also fake, it is posted with different names in different places but was identified as AI fake by audience (see another thread here, too)
This would go hard as a poster in a gaming room
Edit: ahhh its fake im gonna end it all
Wait, wait, is the model actually holding the product in her real hands?
That's so random. They should have just photoshopped it in there, like now
90s were wild for gaming ads. I remember Battlecruiser 3000 AD and Daikatana ads the most.
Daikatana was gloriously stupid but in retrospect - gotta respect our man Romero - fan patch Daikatana goes hard as fuck.
As a teenager I loved that game. I'd absolutely hate it now. Great vision with a wet fart of an execution. I should give the fan patch version a chance.

Does it finally make one his bitch, though?
I only remember 2 games for the Saturn:
Myst, which I later got on PC after renting the Saturn version (the Saturn was also rented), and Dragoon something... It was basically a SHMUP but you rode the back of a dragon and was 3D.
I know I played more than those two, but I don't remember any of 'em.
Man, so many great games.
Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter, Sega Rally, Daytona USA, Nights, Shining Force 3, Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx, House of the dead, Enemy Zero, Virtual On, Panzer Dragoon Saga...
Fuck I had a good childhood
Virtua Fighter was my jam back in the day. Loved that game and all 12 of its polygons!
There was one which stands above them all and I think would still hold up well today...Guardian Heroes. It was a fantastic multiplayer side-scroller beat-em-up with fighting game style moves, magic, choose your path, and even an arena mode. I loved that game and always hoped it would be ported to something more modern (besides Gameboy).
Apparently the symbols on the left are translated to
"absolutely stunning"
Yes you didn't need to point her features out even more Sega
My Japanese isn't very good, but doesn't it translate better to "overwhelming: the (shock?) of 32-bit CG"? But in that case I'm not sure its talking about the model at all but the features on the Sega Saturn
Yes, I want to console her- I mean that console of hers
She’s got that look that says “I’m only doing this for the money so I can actually afford to buy some clothes”.
'Fresh my memory lads. What games were on Sega Saturn?
NiGHTS into Dreams Mech Warrior 4 Virtua Fighter 2
and the definitive version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
I had Earthworm Jim, some platformer where you're a clockwork knight toy, a 3-player smash-em-up called something like Three Dirty Dwarves, and the dinosaur fighting game Primal Rage. It's probably ass but I have a lot of nostalgia for Primal Rage, ha. I've gone back to listen to the soundtrack on occasion.
