They don't want trans people to exist, but they refuse to do something they believe would dirty their hands, so they force us into impossible situations, and when suicide obits pop up, they believe themselves to be good people because they knowingly ignore the connection between their actions and those of the dead.

And this is why I hate liberals that can't understand why I might want to vote against a Democrat. If an anti-trans Democrat gets the nomination in 2028, I will not be able to vote for them. An anti-trans Democrat winning the election is a worse outcome for trans people than Republicans winning another 4 years. In that scenario, we can try again in four years to get a trans friendly Democrat elected. But if the transphobes take over the Democratic Party as well as the Republican Party? We've lost our rights for a generation. This will be one election were trans people absolutely cannot take the myopic path where we assume the election in front of us is the only one that will ever matter.
