Ukraine destroyed the Kotovsk Wildberries distribution center in Tambov. Ukraine also knocked offline the Kstovo refinery with a drone strike. The CIA Director John Ratcliffe flew to Moscow to personally give a message to his FSB counterparts that an attack on a NATO country this month would be a mistake.

What stuck with me from this video, was that the Russian bank VTB stock have dropped 80% in value since the war with Ukraine began.
Anyone claiming the Russian economy isn't collapsing, isn't paying attention.

Sorry but I do, not believe it. I think it is to push, for more aid to Ukraine, which I understand they need the money to defend themselves against the Russian aggression

That doesn't make much sense, Ukraine is doing very well except they lack intercept missiles to protect civilians. They won't get any of those from this.

But I agree it seems very speculative and unlikely that Russia would attack a NATO country, But Putin is desperate, and in desperate situations people do crazy things.

this community rules say 'objective reporting' but they don't actually do it. look at track record. western and ukrainian media been saying russia collapsing, Ukraine winning, for 4 years. Nothing happened. But community still posts same stuff, still claim objective. That delusional or deliberately lying.

This community says one thing, does another. Rules say objective but content is propaganda dressed as fact. Same as Russian state media just opposite direction. You can't claim objectivity when you ignore what actually happening on ground - Russia hitting Kyiv everyday, Ukraine lacking air defense, no quick victory. But instead community keeps pushing 'russia destroyed' narrative.

either follow your own community rules or stop claiming objective. dont manipulate people while saying you reporting factual

Naturally, people click media posts that cater to their emotional connection with the case in question, hence why there are so many posts that claim Russia is going down and Ukraine standing strong: A lot of people support and hope for this perspective to be true.

However, take a look at facts: Russia is struggling. There are a lot of people speculating that there will be a collapse, but that is ultimately speculation, because it's immensely difficult to predict the future of an entire nation with so many pieces in play.

Wildberries and Ozon have taken significant hits, ultimately affecting small businesses hard, with many filing for bankruptcy. The national economy is looking worse with rising national and external debts, and lately it has accelerated, due to heavier and heavier international sanctions, now even resulting in the shadow fleet being intercepted.
The chief economist of VEB even got fired for saying that Russia would lose a war of attricion, which all public numbers point towards being an guaranteed outcome if nothing changes from current projections.
There looks to be yet another round of forced mobilization, which is not a good sign no matter how you twist and turn your perspective. And let's not get into how many times Kremlin has been caught lying to their people's faces.

Most important of all: The People. Are. Suffering.

(And this is not to take away from Ukraine's suffering; there are no winners in war.)

This really just indicates you don't read any western media. Because, no, that is not what they have looked like the past 4 years at all.

This guy may have been saying it, I'm not sure, but he's just a guy on youtube, he can say whatever he wants. If people want to get their information from a guy on youtube, that's up to them.

'The beginning of the end of Putin. 2012/03/03' https://www.economist.com/leaders/2012/03/03/the-beginning-of-the-end-of-putin 14 years has passed. but nothing happened to him. this is my point.

When you quote, you need to have an empty line after the quote before you write your response to it.
The way you do it, your response is part of the quote.

Apart from that your example is anecdotal, and the current war officially started February 22 2022. It's posted in the numbers here every day. This is the official start date of the war. The conflict however dates back further, at a minimum to when Russia invaded and took Crimea.

And an anecdote does not disprove that there especially early on were few that believed that Ukraine could resist Russia for long. There were many that claimed Ukraine should just give up, because resistance was meaningless.

Personally I believed Ukraine would win already pretty early on, as the Russian blatant incompetence quickly became very clear. And the long columns froze and were sitting ducks, and paratroopers were shut down over Kiev. So Russia failed completely in taking Kiev, which was supposed to fall already within the first couple of days to Russian overwhelming pressure.

14 years has passed. but nothing happened to him. this is my point.

I'm not sure what that point is exactly? Who do you think should remove him? Russians were happy with Putin until very recently.
And it's against international law for a foreign power to do it.

You are welcome to point out inaccuracies, and post more objective sources.
It's funny how you complain sources not being objective, but you can't point to any falsehoods?
Yes absolutely the most reporting is pro Ukraine, because it is Russia who is the illegal aggressor, they can just go home any time they want. While Ukraine is defending their right to exist as an independent country.

I am sorry, but I had to downvote your post, because it doesn't provide anything useful. It is in fact inaccurate by omission, of the last part of the rule you claim we aren't following: " is encouraged, even if it’s about bad news for Ukraine.".

All sources I've seen used here are generally mostly factual and accurate, which is as close to objective you can possibly get.

It’s funny how you complain sources not being objective, but you can’t point to any falsehoods. You say I dont point falsehoods but . Russia hittings kyiv almost everyday, Ukraine lacking. air protection. That fact. So why you dont almost never share post about Ukraine weak points? You and jake hide things that doesnt serve your interest. That is omission. Proofs from this channels show what ground actually is: https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/new/ - factual reports not matching what you saying happening.

Yes absolutely the most reporting is pro Ukraine, because it is Russia who is the aggressor, they can just go home any time they want. While Ukraine is defending their right to exist as an independent country. Don't change the topic. We are in the same page that russia is a imperialist and expansionist country. No need to even talk.

I am sorry, but I had to downvote your post, because it doesn’t provide anything useful.

It is in fact inaccurate by omission, ot he latter part of the rule you claim we aren’t following: " is encouraged, even if it’s about bad news for Ukraine.". So where is your bad news for Ukraine posts? You don't share them. That prove my point - you claim objective but selective what you reporting.

Both side can lie but other side expose lies. Look at that subreddit - show both perspectives. That more objective than Lemmy community doing right now.

You should be different than russian propagandist.

    Look at that subreddit

I don't use reddit, you don't even write what I should look for.

    but other side expose lies.

You are not exposing any. Linking to a thread on a sub somewhere else is not exposing anything concrete. It's like writing "look on the internet".

As I wrote before, I'm sure you are perfectly welcome to provide links to stories that you think are relevant.
    But apparently you have nothing.
If you like that reddit place better, then by all means leave me alone with your nonsense.

I don’t use reddit, you don’t even write what I should look for. I directly shared the channel, you will scroll down until find it . I will not go to check 45k post for you.

You are not exposing any. Linking to a thread on a sub somewhere else is not exposing anything concrete. It’s like writing “look on the internet”. -> I expose the link that prove my points. There are dozens of reports from both sides, RU POV is usually pro russian , you dont want to see! spend sometime and will definitely find it or briefly filter 'RU POV' .

But apparently you have nothing. this is that happens, when you can't defend yourself. 😀 I don't have a problem with you, I criticize the not being objective.

If you like that reddit place better, then by all means leave me alone with your nonsense. You again change the topic, I did not say anything about reddit / lemmy is nice or not.

I recommend you that share these news among russian ,so their hatred against putin will grow. Here, we are all against Russia, this is just a echo chamber.

    Edit: Some of the posts

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

You misquote me as sa7ying that, but as I wrote, you have NOTHING!! Why thew fuck should I waste time digging through some useless crap to find what the fuck you are even talking about?

I recommend you that share these news among russian

As stated I don't use reddit, and I doubt Russians do either, they are heavily censored.

I can find dozens of proofs,

    Proofs of what?

Yes that 2nd ink looks interesting, and yes Ukraine obviously also has huge losses.
Why don't you post such stories when you see them? It's absolutely relevant.
I don't personally read the Ukrainian papers, I only post what I stumble upon in my daily internet use.
It's not like I'm digging around to give a complete picture, that's the purpose of having a community, to get a more complete picture, because others share their findings.

You, as a propagandist, understand my point very well!

That is utterly false, Sure I'm on the side of Ukraine, but I am definitely not a propagandist, how dare you!!!

As I already wrote to you, why don't you post those stories yourself? You were aware of them, I wasn't.
And I'm certainly not going to reddit to dig them up.
If you want the community to have better information, share it instead of that load of garbage personal opinion piece you started out with.

I have looked at many of your links now, and they all seem somewhat relevant to me, however I am not the moderator here, so it's up to him if he wants to allow it, but I don't see why not, as you wrote earlier, they are clearly within point 2 of the rules.
I'm not sure it's interesting that a train station is crowded, but some of the other articles seem to be excellent quality.

I am sorry, but again I have to downvote you for your personal insult.
