Naturally, people click media posts that cater to their emotional connection with the case in question, hence why there are so many posts that claim Russia is going down and Ukraine standing strong: A lot of people support and hope for this perspective to be true.
However, take a look at facts: Russia is struggling. There are a lot of people speculating that there will be a collapse, but that is ultimately speculation, because it's immensely difficult to predict the future of an entire nation with so many pieces in play.
Wildberries and Ozon have taken significant hits, ultimately affecting small businesses hard, with many filing for bankruptcy. The national economy is looking worse with rising national and external debts, and lately it has accelerated, due to heavier and heavier international sanctions, now even resulting in the shadow fleet being intercepted.
The chief economist of VEB even got fired for saying that Russia would lose a war of attricion, which all public numbers point towards being an guaranteed outcome if nothing changes from current projections.
There looks to be yet another round of forced mobilization, which is not a good sign no matter how you twist and turn your perspective. And let's not get into how many times Kremlin has been caught lying to their people's faces.
Most important of all: The People. Are. Suffering.
(And this is not to take away from Ukraine's suffering; there are no winners in war.)
