Fascinating. American culture approaching levels of incoherence previously thought impossible. Hexbear-style brother and POTUS-servant sister

Natalie Harp, 35, is nicknamed “the human printer” in the halls of the White House. The moniker describes both her role and her devotion: always at Trump’s side, attentive, ready to print the documents, articles, and posts the president insists on reviewing on paper and in specific formats.
How does that make her a "human printer"? Calling someone, say, a "human calculator" would imply they're really good at mental math—in other words, that they perform a task so quickly/adeptly that they're like a machine. So if she were a "human printer" it would mean that she could write really quickly or precisely or something. Calling her a "human printer" is like calling a janitor a "human mop" or a landscaper a "human lawnmower" (these would be appropriate if they were performing their jobs by sliding along the floor and eating the grass, respectively).
I don't think it's a very good name either, but it's pry cuz her only job is "he doesn't like reading this on a screen, go print it out and bring it to him" and she carries around one of those portable printers
maybe they just call her ''the printer'' half-mockingly and the article thought ''the human printer'' would be more palatable? i can't imagine someone hogging all the printers ''for the president'' would go over well with other staff
is so fucking propagandized
