I argue all the time that the doctor named him Adam which makes him Adam Frankenstein so the actual response should be "No no, call me Adam, my Father is Mr Frankenstein."

    Frankenstein was the surname so, wouldn't they both be Frankenstein? In the sense that Victor, the doctor, created "the monster" would it not be feasible that they share the last name?
