all the talk will be about the penalty decision, but can we have same appreciation of pundits and Newcastle fans claiming "Robbed!" with a straight face. absolutely battered but have nothing but admiration for a fan group and a media outlets with saudi envelopes in their pockets for the level of dedication to having their head in the sand. Truly amazing performance.

As long as Newcastle finish top 4 in Prem League every season, I don’t care if Putin himself is bankrolling the team lol

Never thought football would make me feel so bad for Newcastle so quickly after our game with them. That was a shocking call.

It’s a call that’s been given all CL

Robbery? Despite having VAR? Damn.

Would have loved to see P$G in Europa league where there is real competition.

Are Newcastle still crying about it. Its tough to win games with competent refs, right?

1 day. 3 weeks.

I know it’s hard but can you tell which one is bigger?

I hear some tears behind that comment still hahahah. Hope that felt good 👍 😊. Enjoy being a loser team.

I think Newcastle should respect and accept the refs decision, regardless of how awful it was.

Otherwise maybe they should pipe down about Arsenal.

Newcastle did respect the decision.. did you watch the way the players and Howe didn't have hissy fit? They said they "didn't feel it was a pen but have to respect the referees call"

It was night and day compared to Arsenals reaction and the fans have rightfully got pissed off for a day or two. But the club itself while disappointed in the bad call won't react like it's some sort of conspiracy.
