Please stop giving him attention. He plastered his shitty crypto coin everywhere on all leaks from like 2023. He clearly has different agenda, not "protecting the gamers". Dude is doing a crypto exit scam.

  • Eh, it's not like anybody's actually got the sack to post the leaked video. The fact that they're hiding it doesn't necessarily mean they disagree with his politics/crypto bullshit, but it does mean they aren't supporting his activity.

Can you please elaborate? I stopped following the dude, but he kept posting leaks from 2023 build. Did he get the 2026 build or something?

If you didn't want comments, why post?

the cool thing about piefed&pylova, is that I read both your unedited undeleted comments.

If a Journal make the mistake giving attention to a scammer, why does a threadie have to attend to the Journal’s mistake.

Did you just came off internet class or something? I am just another crossposter. @inclementimmigrant@lemmy.world was the first to give the scammer a 🔁.

I did tell @redacted@infosec.pub who a is supposed to address, if a really wants to correct the Journal’s mistake. Everyone else that upranked a’s comment can do so as well.

But yes, you can absolutely comment something addressing me, that I did. Otherwise I wouldn't have left the «🔔Notify about replies» enabled.

Because I replied to your tomfoolery?
Or because you fear the consequences of libeling me responsible for a Jornal‘s mistake?

I'm not trying to bully you or bandwagon you, into not posting.

But you have to acknowledge your own free will. No one made you crosspost this. And no one is preventing you from addressing concerns with the leaker's motives in whatever way you deem fit: be that deleting the post or editing the OP to include those concerns.

Saying the equivalent of "someone else messed up, so it's fine if I don't clean up" is a shiftless ideology. It is neither a good nor a popular position to debate from.

What a wanker. Just don't buy the game if you object to it.

Not buying the game costs the company 80€. This costs them more. I don't know if they're actually doing it for the reasons they claim, but if they are.. it makes sense and I support it. Hell, even if they're not, they're still drawing attention to it, so... Fuck rockstar. The more people are aware of how shitty they are, the better.

I'm all for letting people know how shitty Rockstar are as a company, but that's been well known for a long time now. If people aren't aware of it, they aren't paying attention. And even when they are aware of it, they'll still buy the game.

This, however is not how you do that. This just reeks of a scam.

Cyberleek said it's "raising funds for a secret project," presumably through the sale of a memecoin—of course there's a memecoin—which will be "directed toward the infrastructure needed to strike, as well as the security and protection required to withstand the inevitable corporate counterattacks."

And just leaking footage and complaining about it not being on a disc isn't doing it either.
