I was gifted an iPhone 15 Pro, delivered yesterday morning, by yesterday evening it was being sent back (Network couldn’t sort out my contract).

But during this time I got to play with it, I was upgrading for an iPhone 11 (normal, not pro) and was so excited for the huge difference, but I just didn’t feel it?!

Do you feel you’ve had a big difference from your previous upgrade? I took the same photo on my 11 and 15th and unless you zoomed in, you couldn’t really see the difference. The sound quality on the 15pro I could hear every breath when recording and I also felt like white colours were ‘too strong’ on the screen making videos/photos feel fake on the 15 pro compared to read on the 11. Are you noticing any of these? Did I just not get to play long enough?

Upgrading from 7 to 11 felt HUGE and I was expecting that again, especially with this being a Pro model.

I just recently went from a 12 to a 15 Pro Max. Huge difference you really couldn’t get much different. I love it so far. I’m happy to be back to a larger format and USB-C!!!

Photos under good lighting have been more or less the same for 5 years on all brands, so by only looking at photos it's not gonna be a VERY noticeable upgrade

I upgrade every year. Since iPhone 4 with Verizon. But shortly after iPhone 12 Pro Max I noticed that the 13 pro max wasn’t much difference but I upgraded anyways. 14 pro max was a game changer and upgrade. The 159th max is a rebranded 14 pro max with slight improvements. Apple is running out of options in their new iPhone

I got the 15PM and returned it. I didn’t think it looked good. I did not get a happy feeling. I kept my 14PM instead. My husband kept his 15PM, but he’s not really happy with it either.

I just got the 15 pro today (upgraded from the 11). To be honest…I don’t feel much of a difference.

I can tell the screen is more crisp, faster and the other differences. But the difference just isn’t enough for me to really care. It’s probably because I’m just a casual user maybe? Or because I’m getting older. 🥲

Went from 7 to 14 Pro Max. Just imagine.

11 to 15pm as a workhorse for shooting behind the scenes stuff on photoshoots and in studio. Massive difference. Using Blackmagic Camera with the 15PM straight onto my SSD, shooting 10bit 4k60 log…

#MASSIVE DIFFERENCE

Kinda scary even tbh. Absolutely mad what phones can do now

I went from a normal 11 to a 14 last year so it felt like a big jump for me

I don’t understand people expecting upgrading their iPhone expecting a massive difference. That has never been the case.

The biggest difference with newer model phones is the camera. 📷 My jump from a 7 plus to a 14 pro max (just 2 weeks ago!) was huge because of the crisp, sharp difference in the camera capabilities 👍

iPhone 8+ to iPhone 15+. Yo what major difference. Adjusted to no haptic buttons was odd. Screen clarity, photos, speaker volumes. Just wow

yeah i was all geared up to swap out my iphone 12 with a 15 Pro before the release but now i think i might just take a stab at replacing the battery in my 12

I went from 14 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max and it was a big difference.

  1. weight
  2. portrait pictures
  3. charging speeds
  4. gaming speeds and quality (the 15 did heat up a little)

Less than 2 years is generally not worth it. More than that, worth a shot

I’m upgrading from the SE 2020 to the 15 Pro. I have a lot to look forward to!

I went from the 7 to the 14 so the change was immense. And I still don’t have telephoto cameras (which I desperately want, digital zoom really isn’t cutting it for me), the dynamic island (doesn’t add too much functionality but is really cool), USB C, Pro Motion and the better battery life of the pro and bigger iPhones, so I expect my next upgrade to be quite significant as well, but probably nowhere close to going from an old 7 with all its issues to a brand new iPhone 14.

14 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max, the long awaited switch to USB-C and the action button has changed how I use my phone and make it so much more useful. The camera jump seems bigger than ever for a long time too, if you can’t feel an upgrade coming from an 11 then it’s probs worth just getting a regular 15 or saving money and getting a 13

I updated from an iPhone X to an iPhone 15 pro max and I love it

I would have kept it and used in on wi-fi networks until I could find another accommodating cellular network.
