With a case, yeah can’t see why not. Probably best to replace the back though.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Slap a case on that bad boy and you’re good to go

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

fix it my xr is like that and if your phone comes in any contact of water it will damage by going thru that back glass

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yes it’s fine. Every single 12-16 yo phone looks like this xD

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Did you run it over with a car?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Are you really asking if broken glass is safe? 😂

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Use a skin :) will probably look like new :D

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Put it in a case and it should be okay.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah all good. It will buff out.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Just need some paint touch up and it'll be like new.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Looks safe enough to just get cuts on the skin. Would take more of your delicate handling and care murder the phone.

That's why I never leave the store without a screen protector and durable case.

Apple here… no

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

You can use it as a razor

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I’m assuming you don’t have AppleCare. Why do people continue to walk around with phone like this when it’s only $30 to fix it?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Ye just use a case

A friend of mine used to work at a repair shop. He told me that if the phone is used with a cracked back glass, small pieces of glass penetrate the battery, causing the battery to swell up. Same thing happens when the back glass is replaced sloppily.

Try to put a phone case but personally if I was you I would buy a new one…

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Put a case and save for a glass back.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It's an iPhone ofc not

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I would get that repaired if I were you, I recommend UBREAKIFIX

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That back-glass looks like a trip to the hospital

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Reminds me of the time my dad told me he picked up a glass rock, and it cut his finger and it was so sharp that, he didn’t realize that he cut himself

This was at a Pet Supplies Plus back in the 1980’s

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Use any case for safety

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That’s one way to do a tear down

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It’s safe in the sense that it won’t die or kill you, but get a case or skin so you don’t get cuts

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Put on a case so you dont cut ypurself and dont use in rain. and dont put it in water obviously.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Grow a glass plate back on it then a skin then it’s like it never happened

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Why does the photo look like a terrible photoshop lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

are broken glasses safe to use near your body parts? if yes, can i interest you in this genital enlargment cream for a low cost of 99.99 x 12 month.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Just stick a @dbrand skin on it and you'll be fine, just make sure that you don't buy anything from @casetify
