If you like tiny pieces of glass under your skin, this if perfect!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

depends on use case.

  • normal/careful usage inside a decent case? -> sure
  • underwater -> big no no
  • ingestion/insertion? -> not recommended

Average iphone user xD Just fix it

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Lol bro at least put it in a case so you don’t cut yourself.

Glass is no joke, if you get a glass sliver they can stay in your body because they can be sterile.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yes just be careful so you don’t cut yourself

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I would go get it either fixed or replaced

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Put a case on it and don’t get it wet, should be fine for the rest. There are chances of dust and moisture coming in, but what you could do is perhaps put a big piece of tape on it to sorta prevent that as well. Best thing is of course to get it fixed.

Merely a scratch u good to go

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

‘Tis merely a flesh wound!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I’ve dropped my phones so many times but the worse damage I’ve ever done was some dents. No idea how people get these phones look like this

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

#Got some tape?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Just use a cover

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Is this a 15?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Uhhh… yeah, just use a case dude 😂

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Unless a case is as air tight as the cover that comes with the iPhone, I would have it replaced.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Who is a bit of tape it will

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I used my iPhone 12 Pro this and then eventually paid some kiosk in the mall like $90-$100 to fix it. Then traded it in

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If you put a case on it sure. And even still i’d cover the cracks with tape first to try to avoid as much dust and potential moisture from getting in as possible

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

You just need a case

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Just get it fixed

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I wouldn’t eat it

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Get a dbrand vinyl and a transparent case. Will look as new

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Personally that level of damage I would just get the back glass replaced. But some kind of waterproof case like a lifeproof one should work too as I imagine any level of moisture in there will fuck that phone up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Did this to mine. Slapped a black carbon fiber skin on the back and a case and i honestly forget it’s there

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Don’t ever let it get it wet, but I would just put a case on it if you can’t afford to get it replaced (the back glass) depending on your model it may not be super expensive to do if it’s like a 12 Pro Max or 13 Pro Max

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Cases are $5 at Walmart fyi

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Steve Jobs will come out of his grave and slap you, then go back to bed

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

This reminds me of Ariana Grande’s iPhone lol she posted a mirror selfie one day and I had to do a deep dive because ain’t no way that’s her cracked phone, maybe a weird phone case. But it is 😭

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Tis but a scratch

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

As safe as wearing a pair of sandals made of pieces of broken glass

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

No, it is not.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

How many times was it ran over?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I really love Apple, despite all their less than stellar or honest moments, when it comes to internal engineering, quality, pricing, right to repair and so on. I love em despite that. Because they bring to this world know-how about how to build platforms and ecosystems, how to have discipline in creating products that's completely missing in the rest of the world.

But god damn it the materials they use to make smartphones are like the dimmest most random bullshit I've ever seen. Why GLASS BACK m**** f*****s? WHY?

And don't tell me "because antenna". Guess what doesn't break when you drop it, and lets signal through?! We have tons of it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Okay NOW I’ll put a case on it I guess..

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Absolutely, Apple has integrated a special anti cutting coating to keep your fingers and face safe from cuts and nicks. 😏

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

sure ehy nig

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Why was there no case on this in the first place?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Try putting it in a bag of rice
