There was definitely a card warranted there, it was just the wrong color and shown to the wrong fucking person! There’s no excuse for how bad that call was.

Argentina is such an unlikable team

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Thats pathetic from De Paul

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Well, Gabriel Jesus got away with murder if this thing was a red lmao (which he did btw)

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

They tried robbing Uruguay the same, its getting dumb.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Not a red, but I would have loved to see him clothesline the player that shoved him.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

When Joelinton turned back towards him against the momentum of his body in the close up slo-mo, I was thinking "Oh yea, you can see he's pissed and is about to pop him with a hand/forearm/elbow in the chops"....and then nothing. De Paul is a clown. You can see what the ref thought he saw (I guess), but the VAR must be on a lunch break or something.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

honestly, de paul should be thankful he didn’t injure joelintons shoulder right there… can’t think of a sport where an armbar like that is considered a natural motion.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

"Check complete." (But Does nothing)

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

2022 WC is back baby

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Same old Argentina

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul should get a red card for that arm grab.

You can see why the ref gave the red, in motion it looks like he smashes him in the face but the replay shows it was actually a really restrained attempt to get the fucker locking his arm in place off him.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Argentinian scumbag.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If the ref did his Job Joelinton wouldnt have reacted in the fist place.

That shit happens so often

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That were diabolical

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Thought Wales got the worst ref last night until I see this one lol

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That shouldn’t even be a yellow for Joelinton

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Just like the World Cup

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That Argentinian team really is unlikeable. They cause so much chaos then hide behind messi’s image.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Argentina help continues even after handed the World Cup

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That's an awful call.

From the replay it looked like Joelinton was trying to smack away the hand De Paul was grabbing him with.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Awful, if only, it's a card for the Argentinian player.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Argentinians still flopping, disgusting

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

There was no way that was deserving of a red card. De Paul obviously play acting hurt when he was the one holding hands with Joelinton without even buying him dinner first.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It's cos City paid the refs.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

With a proper view of the incident it looks like Joelinton actually does pretty well to twist himself free of De Paul's grip without lashing out or pushing back in any particularly aggressive way. Feels like pretty solid "clear and obvious error" territory here, and I might've even expected a booking for De Paul - if for the holding alone, let alone the simulation.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly, De Paul should be banned for 3 games. Shit like this needs to be punished. Stop cheating.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Looked good on the ball though didn’t he

Masterful levels of shithousery from De Paul there

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Shithouse dirty football at its peak.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

i've seen people hit by cars that have rolled less

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Is there any team more unlikeable than the Argentina national team, cheating scum

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

lol de paul is a puss

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why did he roll like 8 times ? Didn't seem to be a major impact or injury here ?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why's he holding his face?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Simulation like this should be a 2 year ban. Why the fuck does doping count as cheating but cheating doesn't count as cheating?

It's a fucking disgrace. Flopping and straight up pretending you took a punch to the face are very different things.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That's embarrassing..

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

(Insert soft kobe gif)

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Argentina player a little bitch

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

such a bull shit call.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Wow, you northeners would never understand, this was peak SA Football. This was art, De Paul playing Argentinian football 101.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

De paul is so spineless fuck him

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

someone put this ref in a box and bring him to the PL

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul is HIM.

I fucking love this dude

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That's a total howler. How was that allowed to stand?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Now this is CONMEBOL

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

You have been Piero Maza'd

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The amount of crying in this thread… love it!

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Stupid by Joelinton.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul is an unlikable little baby. Not even Brazilian and I’m livid
