“These humans, they are attracted to rich nourishment aren’t they? These so called “snacks”, can we use them as a dopamine initiator?”

[-] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 2 hours ago

....Snack budgets? Where do they get these absolute asshole shitforbrains?

[-] billwashere@lemmy.world 7 points 1 hour ago

Maybe they should have a pizza party.

[-] Hupf@feddit.org 2 points 1 hour ago

Don't you think that this would be a bit over the top?

[-] P1nkman@lemmy.world 1 points 45 minutes ago

Only if i's more than one slice per employee (drinks must be purchased by the employee).

Business school

This reminds me when I was working for IBM ten years ago and in an attempt to be cool they have us a single beer, and then stamped our hand so we couldn't get another.

Once a company gets into these spirals it's incredibly hard to right the ship again.

[-] halfapage@lemmy.world 23 points 5 hours ago

fucking gold

here's your beer you ungrateful swine, don't even think about getting another

you feel like working yet?

To ensure proper pizza allocation, we will require Lazer engraving on our work unit (employee) necks here at META to ensure desirable fun ratios are achieved.

[-] themaninblack@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

That’s amazing, wow

Your pizza party has 6.2 minutes remaining, continue merriment for the prescribed time.

[-] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 hours ago

I read this in a strong German accent and it made me smile.

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 3 points 5 hours ago

“The 30 minute pizza party will be deducted from your weekly budget of 60 minutes without AI monitoring”

[-] halfapage@lemmy.world 9 points 5 hours ago

hell no, they need to monitor the party to figure out the minimum viable morale increasing party parameters

they can't make it that expensive ever again can they

What the heck is going on.

[-] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 9 points 6 hours ago

[-] terranoid@lemmy.cafe 8 points 9 hours ago

Chatgpt, how can I create the grandest pizza morale boosting party without spending money?

[-] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago)

They gonna ask meta ai

About that, I think I read that they have an unofficial policy like "thanks to ai coding agents, if a coding team needs more than a single pizza to be fed, it means it's too big and someone needs to be fired"

(Now, how to delete this meta ai stuff chat in my WhatsApp? It seems I can only delete on my side but they keep the rest for training)

[-] halfapage@lemmy.world 3 points 5 hours ago
