The mold has some interesting ideas about trans people.

Aw, looking back on my original comment now I feel a bit bad.

Like on one hand, haha evil mold-brained transphobe.

On the other, do the jokes kind of detract from and minimise the serious harm she and her ilk are actively causing real people on a day to day basis?

[-] HobbitFoot 20 points 1 month ago

I think the jokes highlight, not distract.

[-] SkyeStarfall@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 1 month ago

As a trans person, I appreciate the concern, but no, a joke like this does not detract from the serious harm she does, it highlights it, as the other commenter mentioned

It's a joke around her hate making fun of her, and it's a joke that often circulates in exactly the circles of the groups she directs hate at

Ridiculing the evil people do might not fix the problem, but it at least shows a signal that it's bad and maybe helps create a bit of a culture of shame around being hateful. It should be embarrassing to be a hateful person

The Mold produces an enticing aroma to encourage human consumption of itself. It propagates in the chest cavity and quickly subsumes the entire body, seizing control of motor functions.

Such a great game. Can't wait for the sequel this year.

I wonder if Ahti will still be around or if we learn his fate.

Did Mould make this shirt?

[-] PunnyName@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

This doesn't appear to be a 2D cutout of a 3D item, so I'm gonna guess "no".

[-] WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today 6 points 1 month ago

That's because it broke the mould.

Remembering that Infected Town mold series on r/NoSleep now... bit of an underwhelming ending, but such is often the case.

[-] LostCarcosan@lemmy.today 1 points 1 month ago

The one by u/iia? Or was there another one? I couldn't finish the iia one. It was good, but horrifying

It was by a series of burner accounts for authenticity. The first set of posts was by u/helpmenosleep, the second by u/AlanPWtf, the third by u/vainercupid. Someone posted an index of them here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoSleepOOC/comments/2bpwzf/comment/cj7ql8x/
