Hi. I’m looking for a cost effective switch that enables me to power both an outdoor PoE AP that takes 24v passive and a 48v IP Camera that takes 48v.

Suggestions appreciated. Thank you. My budget is limited. I know the £150 Ubiquit flex can auto sense but I was hoping for something more cost effective.

I want to avoid punching multiple cables through my wall, as I will be adding more of these APs and Cams later.

What's wrong with the Flex? I have several of those doing exactly that, powering multiple cameras and other devices via a single ethernet run.

You would need a switch like this to do both passive and PoE/PoE+.

The 8 port Ubiquiti tough switch does 24v passive and 48v
