Coming from Windows, which MacBook should I buy? (alien.top)

I am well into the Apple Ecosystem, and the next one has to be a MacBook. Help me choose.

What I do on a computer - Video editing FHD, Audio Editing, Research, Writing. I need a decent size screen (14 or 16 inches) and a nice screen to look at, and ports for connecting to an external display (if I end up going with the 14 inch).

Prices in my country (India):
14' M1 Pro 1TB: INR 1.65L (USD 1990) ...retail store offer.

16' M1 Pro 512 GB: INR 1.60L (USD 1920) ...retail store offer.

14' M3 Pro 512 GB: INR 1.95L (USD 2340)... MRP

16' M3 Pro 512 GB: INR 2.45L (USD 2940) ... MRP

Which one should I go for?

I think if you are going for video editing, get the 16” M3 Pro. It is supposed to be able handle a lot.

    Comes down to personal preference, but I like the size/performance combination of the 14' Pro.

    If the difference is only ~$400 right now I'd probably suggest splurging for the M3 for the sake of longevity.
