This might be a dumb question, but do these gift cards have restrictions? Can you use them on the new iPhone?

What about if we buy 2 of the same product? For example, buy a Mac Mini, get the $200 gift card, and use it on buying another Mac mini (and of course getting another $200 for something else)

In fairness they did MacBook Pro deals last year on the m1 models.
Well, I do have to buy AirPods and possibly a Magic Keyboard, so at least that'll make the MBP purchase soon after that a little cheaper.
You can redeem a gift card on refurbs, but I don’t believe a refurb is a qualifying purchase to receive a gift card.
And I believe you can stack multiple gift cards, yes
They should’ve just cut the cost of ram and storage upgrades to 1/3 of what they normally cost… they’d still be making bank on them…
Apple’s direct deals are usually pretty awful (and honestly, most of their deals are pretty awful all year round). It’s the retailers to watch for as they offer significant discounts year after year.
That’s why their products hold value though because you can’t really get them for cheap
