A white iPhone 5 back in 2013. The last iPhone to ship with iOS 6!

[-] papa-papaya@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My first iPhone was the first model iPhone.

iPhone 6 Plus

[-] shelby20_03@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The 6s got it in 2018? Used tho. Didn’t last very long

[-] Nawsom@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I had the original. Traded a T-Mobile Sidekick to get it, too.

Day One 8GB ATT. Still clean from life in a bulky case. Retired it with the final update and keep charging it when needed. Amazing to realize what began that day. Now if only I could find the box!

iPhone 4!!! Back when it was free with a 2 year contract when the 5 came out. I was like 13 years old. Fun times

[-] Direct_Abies9361@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

3G. Came kicking and screaming from the Palm Treo. When they went to the Windows operating system I started having too many issues and finally had to change. The lack of native SMS on that first iPhone was a shock!

iPhone 8 product red

[-] Hack8081@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

[-] BeanDemon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Got the iPhone 3G (2nd gen) after the 3GS was released because the price drop.

The original- what a breakthrough it was

[-] GiantDwarfy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
  1. Still using it.
[-] BillyGaming2021@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yes, 4S was the best looking, but 6s plus was the way to go

[-] Sufficient-Koala-361@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

iPhone 7. Before that, I was all Android. I finally realized I was being loyal to an OS that gave me nothing but fits.

[-] adrian_elliot@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The original, first iPhone in 2007

iPhone 6s. It’s my third apple device after iPod and iPad

[-] MutekiGamer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

iPhone 3GS but then I lost it and got an iPhone 5 two years later and have stuck with iPhone ever since

[-] prameshbajra@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

iPhone 12 Still works like a charm. No sign of slowness whatsoever. Also the amount I get if I sell it to someone is also pretty good.

[-] Intelligent-Tank-180@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

3…. From the start.. still on a 13 pro I’m not to happy with the newer ones though

[-] Neuromancer2112@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My first was the iPhone 3G. Great phone at the time - amazing that it was literally an all-in-one device that you could browse websites on.

[-] Chinbie@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Iphone 6 plus

[-] Kendo20563@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Started with the iPhone 3G, then 3GS, 4S, 5S, 6S, 7, XS, 12 pro, 13 pro, 14 pro.

iPhone 11. Was on Android before but when the XR came out I was amazed by OS stability and speed mentioned on the reviews. Saved up some money and bought the 11 shortly after release.

Got a little dissapointed as iOS 13 was incredibly buggy for me: email didn't sync, mobile data connection dropped, requiring a restart of the whole phone etc.

Eventually though it just started becoming better and better as it aged, while I was used to my previous phones slowing down very considerably after the first 2 years.

I sold it a year ago which I regret, it was still an amazing device.

[-] bbbBagger@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

First ever phone was a 1st gen SE, first ever device was a 4th Gen iPod touch

[-] CowsCantDance_01@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mine? Was the 6s!

[-] Chocolocco_97@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

iPhone 4S, the feel of the stainless steel body was nice.

[-] melchiahdim@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

4S. Was such a huge jump from the blackberry I was using before it. Since then I’ve had a 5, a 6plus (which Apple replaced with a 6S plus due to bending) 11 and now 14 Pro

[-] shawn1301@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Used 3GS. Put a pay as you go SIM card in it

4s. I felt that's what the iPhone was "good enough" for me. I was coming from a Blackberry Curve, and found every reason to hate on the iPhone. Then the 4s came out....

The 4S was my first iphone as well. Then moved to first gen SE, then 7, X and now I wanted a compact phone again so I got a 12 mini.
