Hmmm (thelemmy.club)

Remember that time little Johnny almost asphyxiated and the house burned down? Temu remembers.

I immediately heard his theme music. One of the greatest fantasy characters ever.

Most Temu ads I see (when not agressively blocking ads) are abysmal AI slop, so this is at least partially refreshing.

Sorry I couldn't find the image I wanted to attach so here's a singular grain of rice.

I can’t follow the link without logging in …. Is this one of those pellet heaters? I thought they look pretty cool, plus I have a pellet grill so it seems complementary.

Obviously I would remind the ai that it’s an outside appliance so it should generate a deck pic

However the ads seemed mighty scammy and I don’t like the idea of fire in such an unstable (tall and skinny) object, even outside

Temu's ads are actually hilarious. They are so absurd.

It seems like they're saying that the flame is powered by your loved ones. Sorta like a mini crematorium in the living room.

The most disturbing part is bookshelf not full of books. So much wasted potential.
