I get this, but I also remember seeing a conversation that went something like this.

Fae: "Can i have your name?"

TF: "j̶̢̧̩̻̯̣̻͓̲̟͉̿̏̔͋̀͌̓ǫ̸̧̨͎͈͖̘͉̝̹̤̝̀̍͛̂̐̒h̷̨̦̩̣̠͖͎̬̭̦̻͌̆̇͜n̶͇̮͔̤̭̐̈́̐͆͆̾͝"

Fae, in dread: "What is.... this abomination.... take it back!!!!"

TF: "Nope, it's yours now."

But doesn't that only apply to your real name? I though that the deadname was exactly the opposite to the real one!

Not all of us fae are like that.
