Michael Parenti's Inventing Reality: The Politics of News Media has always been better than Manufacturing Consent. Maybe to honor Parenti it might be a better name for c/ManufacturingConsent , and not after Chomsky? On Chomsky is also a fantastic read for why the left should reject him.

Sure can do. I changed the heading name but not the rest, so I think the link stays c/ManufacturingConsent unless someone can tell me how to change that

So there isn't a way for an admin to fully change the link naming? I feel like I remember this explained before, something like it breaks federating linkage of something?
You can't change the names of communities or users for federation reasons, so the links stay that way, but the display name of the community can be anything.

i hate how chomsky is used to shepherd liberals who are questioning the status quo back into the status quo fold; i regret wasting so much time on this guy.
Chomsky is peak Red Herring. Offering the correct description of the problem, but then presenting the wrong solution over and over again.
