Milheim: "You also worked on 'Hawkeye.' I just wondered, have you have you been involved at all with any sort of development of a Season 2? Have you been able to dip back into that world at all?"

Guest: "There was talk at a certain point about… we did explore creatively what Season 2 of 'Hawkeye' might be if we were able to do it. Unfortunately, the timing didn't work out in terms of Marvel and all the various pieces that need to come together, but I loved working on 'Hawkeye.' I think [Jeremy] Renner and Hailee Steinfeld are so terrific together, and I would love to see more of those two."

I had no idea they even considered a second season, but this still disappoints me greatly. I still think Hawkeye was one of the best MCU shows.

I heard they offered Jeremy Renner like half as much for season 2 in early talks and the whole thing ended there. But I don't remember any discussion of a second season before or after that.

Because the plan was for Steinfeld to take the lead role and Clint would be a support, thinking he'd be happy to take anything. But they're now finding that people don't care that much about most of the legacy characters in the Multiverse Saga.

I'm mixed. I though the first season was kind of a mess, so I am not surprised. I hoped that maybe a second would be better, but also I find that this isn't really typically the case, so I'm guessing if they had made this I wouldn't have cared for it. So I'm not sure how to feel.
