i heard that a lot of certificates from tia are a good to have. like the basic computer certificates up to the security+. is that true or what do you think?

If you mean CompTIA, then yes! Security+ is a great entry level certification. It helped me land my first job outside of my internship.

Agreed, and was also my first cert and what I believe helped me land my first sec job years and years ago…
