Rice MOTM, arguably the best player so far this season. 4 points gained by him against big 6 teams.

I don't see it as much here, but I see confidence get talked about a lot with players these days (rightly so imo). Maybe this is point out the obvious or a hot take... The one thing I feel Rice visibly exudes aside from confidence is a hatred for losing. You see a lot of people get anxious or panicky, trying to bring the pace of the game up by making quick, rash actions either on the ball or when pressing/tackling, sometimes its yelling or instructing loudly and animatedly at teammates. He just seems...mad, like controlled furious about being in a losing position. Then goes and does something about it. Again, I'm probably pointing out the obvious, but it's good to see that personality in the midfield.
Good comeback but a little disappointed we gifted them two goals.
Eh, Mudryk's was not really a gift, just an insanely lucky goal. The penalty was gifted by the ref not us, shouldn't have been one
I'm inclined to say we would have 3 points if Rice started as the 6.
Table looks about right, tbh
Would like to see Ramsdale back in goal after that honestly.
*sigh* made the mistake of looking at the comments below the Guardian's match report. There's someone demanding Arteta be fired 😂
Fucking hate this ref every time I watch him. So many nonsense fouls at 2-2.
I posed the question a couple of weeks ago about what players we need. I really like Nketiah and I've come to his defence many times before but... I can't help but think we could use a striker.
Also that foul on Tomi from the header was bullshit. He used his arms to propel his jump, facing away from the Chelsea defender, and got the ball.
Switched to the last few minutes of the Sevilla game after and the ref gave them a yellow for a perfectly fine slide, so it isn't just us.
Chelsea were genuinely better than Spurs btw lol
We all better hold Zinny to his words he'll rip someone's balls off
Which words?
He had said to Mudryk if he scored, he'll rip his balls off
Wow too bad no wonder Mudryk only scored on accident
Zinny better do it 😏
Like the WC final tbh
Boring ass game for 80 minutes then suddenly out of a mistake the game comes alight and it ends in a draw
Something that Cannon Stats brought up - how many times were the Chelsea players surrounding the ref begging for decisions? These fucking beginning-of-season directives always get used to hammer us until the refs all stop caring. How many times has Partey been booked for kicking a ball away before a free kick? Looking forward to seeing that never get penalized for the rest of the season
I called them whiny cunts like 10 times yeah :p
