After seeing the severed head of my enemy on my phone's screen i cancelled the hitman payment, knowing very well he will not be able to track me back. (lemmy.world)

When the next day I saw that same enemy at a public event with thick bandages around his neck, I began to doubt that my usual precautions would keep me safe for long.

    Very relatable. I'm always having people murdered and screwing over the hitman. I would be so scared if something like this happened.
