This isn't a peace proposal, it's surrender terms. Keep fighting until Putin's on his knees, Ukraine.

Any appeasement is a permanent loss, for a temporary relief of fighting.

And only normalizes it the next time it happens.

You can't negotiate with a group like that, regardless of if they represent a country or not.

So basically the same thing they've been asking for for the last two years. Biggest difference now is that Russia's military and economy are so damaged that it'll be much longer before they next break the peace treaty.

Sounds like the better option is just to offer proper support to Ukranie and wait for Russia to colapse, so there won't be a next time.

Never trust a Russian. Or a conservative.

Basically a repeat of 2014 after Russia took Ukraine Crimea and 8 years later they wanted more and there was nothing to stop them but the Ukrainian pushback (which, honestly, kudos for holding out this long).

It's not that exclusive, it's just the same as before. Although usually Putin also mentions something bout a regime change in Ukraine too.

I don't think anyone sane person cares how Russia negotiates. They try to regain their imperialistic dreams on their road to perdition, whilst destroying what they had left.
